Brush off your Cultes Des Ghouls, polish up your elder signs and get ready to experience horror author H.P. Lovecraft as never before. Produced by the Arkham obsessives at the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society and destined to inspire a fervent cult, THE WHISPERER IN DARKNESS pulls off the seemingly impossible task of fusing Lovecraft’s tales of eldrich horror with the whizz-bang filmmaking of Universal horror classics like FRANKENSTEIN and KING KONG.

Miskatonic University professor Albert Wilmarth, a folklorist and skeptic, receives a letter from a farmer in rural Vermont who claims to have proof of the existence of mysterious creatures roaming the local hillsides. If it’s true, his discovery could finally make sense of the reports of strange things floating in the rivers after a historic Vermont flood, and would shed new light on local legends of monsters in the remote hills. As is so often the case in Lovecraft’s stories, though, madness lurks around every corner, and some secrets are best left unexplored.
