Last Days in Vietnam

Year 2014
Runtime 98 mins

This captivating documentary highlights the chaotic final days of the Vietnam War. A small number of American diplomats and military operatives are faced with ethical decisions as the United States prepares to quickly withdraw all troops from the country.

As the North Vietnamese Army closes in on Saigon, a communist victory becomes inevitable. Delayed by a congressional gridlock Americans still in the country prepare for the official evacuation. They must choose between obeying the White House and only evacuating US citizens, or risk treason charges and save their South Vietnamese allies, who risk imprisonment and possible death.

With the clock ticking and the city under fire a number of Americans take matters into their own hands and engage in unsanctioned operations in a desperate effort to save the lives of their South Vietnamese allies, co-workers and friends.
