MY FRIEND DAHMER

My Friend Dahmer

Year 2017
Runtime 107 mins

Jeffrey Dahmer was once a child – a shy teenager who struggled to fit in. This is the story of the man that lived beneath the monster's skin.

Jeffrey Dahmer made global headlines when his crimes were exposed to the world: kidnapping, murder, and other crimes too macabre and numerous to mention. But he was not born as a heartless, inhuman monster - he was a child once, and he struggled to fit in, just as all of us do.

MY FRIEND DAHMER is the emotional tale of one shy, alcoholic teenager who could not find his place in the world - starting in high school, where teasing and cruelty were the norm that shaped his life and the horrendous acts that came afterward. Based on the award-winning graphic novel by Dahmer's classmate John "Derf" Backderf, the film stars Anne Heche (JOHN Q), Vincent Kartheiser (MAD MEN) and newcomer Ross Lynch in the title role of one of America's most notorious serial killers.
