Calgary, AB—The Calgary International Film Festival is pleased to announce the five Audience Selected Encores that will be screened on Sunday October 4 to close out the final day of CIFF 2015.
Audience Selected Encores represent a cross section of some of the biggest hits of the festival thus far, based on both audience ballots collected to date, and box office demand.

Tickets will go on sale Friday at 9 AM. Trailers for all films can be found at calgaryfilm.com.

GUANTANAMO’S CHILD

After spending nearly half his life detained in Guantanamo Bay, Omar Khadr shares his story.

LANDFILL HARMONIC is the remarkable story of the Recycled Orchestra, a group of children from Paraguay who play instruments made entirely from garbage.

THE LADY IN THE VAN
Sunday, October 4 at 6:45pm (Eau Claire)
Starring Maggie Smith, THE LADY IN THE VAN is based on the true story of Miss Shepherd, a woman who "temporarily" parked her van in writer Alan Bennett's London driveway and proceeded to live there for 15 years.
