Doc Soup Calgary Presents: THE FEAR OF 13

THE FEAR OF 13, a documentary about convicted murderer and rapist Nick Yarris who spent 23 years on death row, is the February Doc Soup selection.

Presented by Hot Docs and the Calgary International Film Festival, the screening will take place at Cineplex Eau Claire on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 7 p.m.

A confessional monologue, THE FEAR OF 13 is constructed from a single four-day long interview.

Unfolding into a a psychological thriller, it becomes clear that nothing is quite what it seems and the importance of postconviction DNA testing becomes the central focus of Nick's fight to prove his innocence.
